My Project

My classroom is need in of a chapter book revamp! The students of 109 love to read and explore literature but our classroom chapter book selection is small and outdated.

Reading is a vehicle in which our students can visit new worlds, travel through time, and explore ideas beyond their wildest dreams.

It inspires them, challenges them, brings the world to their fingertips. With these new books, my students will be able to grow their love for reading and continue their journey as life-long learners.

Room 109 is a multi-grade, Montessori classroom with children ranging in age from 6-9. A large selection of new chapter books will inspire our younger readers to challenge themselves and motivate our older students to keep strengthening their reading. Many of these new books are graphic novels, which serve as a fantastic bridge between picture books and chapter books.
