Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I would love to get a Cricut machine for my classroom. I would like to create personalized gifts, t-shirts for my students, and other things. These items will identify and make them unique when they do these projects. For example when we have Read Across America Day, it will allow me to make shirts for the day of the event or make unique items such as poetry books or writing journals. For our Pre-K promotional exercises, it will help us make scrapbooks of all the kids' learning experiences for that year as a keepsake.

Having this machine will help me and my other grade level teachers find a way to make things ourselves for our students rather than having to search or make unnecessary purchases.

We are always trying to find a place to purchase personalized t- shirts, center activities, and cut out letters for students, bulletin boards, and other things for the classroom. Having the Cricut machine will allow us to be creative in house and make our kids feel special and have memories that last forever!
