My Project

My students seek out books and stories that not only provide a sense of adventure, but also make deep connections with their lives and the world around them. These books will help me transport them into a time in history that has impacted how their world is today, as well as provide personal connections with their current state of development. My goal is for students to engage in a beautifully written story by an author who can share some eye-witness experience during that time in history. Along the way, they learn timeless lessons about family and youth to take with them as they grow and learn.
