My Project
My second graders are inquisitive, energetic, creative, and readers. Unfortunately, our school library is closed for the year because we do not have a librarian to manage the circulation of books. Without books to read, our only option was to create a classroom library where the students could borrow books to read in class and at home.
I want to create a classroom library based on my students' interests so that they can read for pure pleasure.
Thus, I want to make the Once Upon a ..... experience for them, where they can use their inquisitive and creative minds to develop unfathomable imagery as they read.
When we first start school, we learn to read. As we get older, we read to learn. I want my students to read for fun.
