On The Move Body And Mind With Pedal Exercisers

My Students

The students you will be helping will be first graders who come from a low income area. Many of my students have a great deal of problems sitting quietly and attending to classwork. Many of these children struggle with ADD, ADHD or autism. Therefore, focusing on lessons is very difficult.

My students are motivated learners who want, deserve and also need to reach their learning goals.

My students are having to spend extra time working on computers and working at their desks due to Covid19. Research tells us that students who move and exercise each day are more successful learners! Research also tells us that moving while learning improves academic success! I plan to use stationary bike pedals to provide my students the opportunity to move while working on computers, reading and completing math assignments. I appreciate your support in helping provide my students the best opportunity to achieve academic success!

My Project

Pedal Exercisers will be used at school when students are working at desks. Due to Covid, students are having to social distance and stay at desks much more often than usual. Research tells us that students who move and exercise enough each day are more successful learners.

Pedaling while working will be perfect to help students get the movement that is much needed for them to be successful!

I love the idea of using whole brain learning to help students become successful learners! Thank you for supporting our students to become healthy and successful!
