This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 4th. grade class is a very energetic class that loves to play sports and be outside. We are requesting sports equipment to practice P.E and not only comply with a requirement but to stay healthy. They are very skilled at various sports and love to play them not only at school but at home also. We are currently having a problem with the lack of sports equipment since various classes go out to P.E. at the same time and the resources are limited for each class.

I am requesting sports equipment for our class to have the chance to go out and play sports more often and offer a variety of physical exercises to practice.

The basketball balls are for the large class of 33 to be able to be divided into 4 small groups and have more chances to play basketball. The flying disks are for the class to play and practice for the Olympic Day in April and the jumping ropes provide a different kind of sports to play.

This much-needed equipment will not only serve the needs of the current class, but future classes will also benefit from these donations also; it will help them to practice sports and stay healthy.
