Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students attend an inner city public school. The majority of them live well below the poverty line. While they may have economical disadvantages they have a huge learning advantage. They love to learn.

They ask questions constantly and want to know as much as they can about the world they are discovering, and the friends they are making in school.

My students are also amazing teachers. They are teaching me something new all of the time. They love and express their feelings so innocently. They just want to do their best. It humbles me to try every second to do mine.

My Project

Tablets in my classroom will allow students to utilize the learning sites available with direction and supervision. With the ability to use the data analyzing features of the given applications, I can customize the needs of my students.

My students will gain confidence to be able to use the on-line format for homework and independent work.

Being confident in the learning format of this type of technology will make working at home more accessible. This will increase productivity and learning!

The pride of my students when they can teach through their own learning is priceless. Being able to show their classmates, teachers, and caregivers progress in reaching goals will help them continue on the path of a lifelong love of learning.
