My Project

Books are at the heart of learning. My students enjoy reading and many of them will share with me new information they are learning or a new book they are excited about. My students currently have access to my classroom library with over 800 books-many of which have been funded by DonorsChoose! Sometimes I notice, however, my students seem to reach for similar books or familiar books. Help me give my students new book display cases to showcase curated book collections and new titles I am adding to my library.

By donating to this project, you will help my readers find new and exciting books that are available to them in our classroom.

Many of us know the excitement of finding a new book or series we are excited about. The feeling of entering a book store with all of the new books displayed artfully inviting readers to embark on a new journey just can't be beat. I would like to invoke that same feeling for my third grade readers in my classroom.
