My Students

My students are dedicated to learning. They come to school each day excited to learn. Each day they recite the mission statement. Our mission statement is: "We the students in Mr. L's class are all friends and we will be kind and respectful to everyone. We will be on time to all activities, ready to learn and prepared to do our best. At all times we are committed to following the rules and procedures. We are the leaders of tomorrow."

My students not only recite our mission statement, but they also strive to live it each day.

They are kind and respectful. They love to learn and try their best.

My Project

First off, I would love to give my students the opportunity to read the beloved holiday classic, "The Christmas Carol". Reading this book is a great way to hit a large portion of our core. In particular, the figurative language found in this book is rarely replicated.

Students deserve a quick and painless way to display their creativity.

In our 21st century classroom, we do a lot of creating online. By giving my students an Apple TV, they will be able to quickly show and present their work to their entire class through air play. This will give students the ability to learn how to present in front of a large group and to show pride in the work they do.
