Help me give my students fun board games to play before school and during lunch time to help build social skills, students interaction, and excitement!

My Project

The library is a refuge for so many kids at lunch, especially during the cold winter months. After sitting and likely being quiet for most of the day, students need social interaction. Unfortunately, phones and various technologies compete with face-to-face attention. I am hoping to change that!

I would love to provide my students with family board games and cards to help increase face-to-face social interaction, collaboration, and excitement!

With your help, students would be able to come into the library before school and during lunches to play games and have fun!

I want the library to be a place for all students to feel safe, loved, and seen. I believe that having a space for them to engage in this way will continue to build a culture of positivity and also provide more exposure to books on display. It's a win/win!
