Help me give my students an "EleTab Standing Desk Converter Sit Stand Desk Riser Tabletop Workstation," to create a flexible workspace to utilize that is comfortable and will encourage movement.

My Students

My students are excited and motivated when they have choices during a class period! We are located in a beautiful, rural area. My students love to participate, learn and discover.

My one hundred seventeen, seventh-grade math students are ready to create, share, practice, and discover new things, related to our math lessons.

All of our students need to have daily opportunities and resources to develop strong foundational math skills, as well as, have opportunities to move in the classroom. Teachers also need to have access to, utilize, and familiarize themselves with a variety of seating arrangements and presentation equipment that meets the needs of all students.

Currently, our classroom has regular individual desk seating for students and a large table that seats eight. In our mathematics classroom, my students appreciate it when they can utilize different areas of the classroom. A variety of seating arrangments to complete assignments, present materials and their work related to daily lessons supports student learning and encourages excitement.

My Project

By providing students access to workspace options, my students will have opportunities to choose a place that is comfortable, as well as, encourage movement throughout the class period. Students will be encouraged to work individually and collaborate with others.

Offering students a variety of workspaces and allowing them to have more choices, during a class period will increase focus, ownership, and engagement.

My students are excited to utilize technology and flexible seating/presentation options that encourage mathematical discussions, including error analysis and sharing work in our classroom. A variety of seating arrangments to complete assignments, present materials, and student work will support student learning.
