Old Basketballs Need Retirement Plan

My Project

Many of our current basketballs have lumps or the material is tearing off. We are a Title I school meaning many of our kids are impoverished and living in low income households. Our students are learning the cultures that are necessary to be successful in the American culture, as many of them are immigrants themselves or from immigrant families. Our school has many others areas to fund before our sports equipment.

I believe every student deserves the chance to explore new hobbies or different paths they can take in life, including sport.

We will use this equipment to develop physical skills that can be incorporated into valuable social team skills. Developing skills to work in teams is one of the most important life skills that students can take away from their school experience into their communities and work places.
