My Students

The kids in our music program are wonderful student musicians. They give countless hours to their school, their community, ​and their art. Our community places a high value on the role of music education, and the positive life long skills that music education provides. Our students work hard at developing their interests into talent, and that talent into art.

We use music to connect us to the world and to help prepare us for the rest of our lives.

The traits of dedication, perseverance, responsibility, and community are taught and reinforced daily in our pursuit of musical excellence.

My Project

This project is a small library of books dedicated to instruments in the traditional wind band. Each of these books has articles, musical examples and tips to help students of all ages learn more about their instruments. Topics include history of their instrument, better playing technique, proper care and maintenance.

This small library will help my band students learn more about their instrument and help them get better at playing it.

I have found these resources to be invaluable to student development. Often this is the type of information you have to pay a private teacher to get, and now it can be right at their fingertips.
