My Students

The diversity seen in my classroom is clear based on the demographics of our school; 57.7% of our population are high needs and 44.6% are economically disadvantaged. Therefore, I do the best that I can to not allow these things to impact my students' education.

Through the use of strong structured lessons & interactive lessons I am able to help my students achieve goals they may not have thought possible in the past.

My Project

When we left school last March, I never anticipated that we would not be back to in person learning for the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. I never expected the challenges that would arise on a number of levels. Remote teaching has been hard.

A MacBook would allow for better flowing lessons without disruptions, providing more a more genuine learning experience.

Currently, I am using a chromebook, which has allowed me to deliver technological lessons, but only to a certain degree. A MacBook lesson would supersede a chromebook lesson.

Since we are currently forced to learn through a screen, providing my students with the best possible learning experience is important to me. The only way to be able to do this, is to have the resources available that will ultimately help me, help them succeed!
