Oh the Places My Books Could Go!

My Students

My students come from very diverse backgrounds. Some take care of not only themselves, but also their siblings when they go home. They are also some of the most hardworking kids I have had the pleasure of meeting. They come to school every day and work from the first bell to the last. Because of this hard work they enjoy their time with me in the media center as a time to relax and take a different approach to learning.

While in the media center, I try to incorporate different learning styles to meet their needs and allow them to be themselves while in my classroom.

My students are learning how they learn best and I want to give them every opportunity to discover what way that is.

My Project

The book truck will allow me to deliver quality books and lessons when I am visiting classrooms. The storage compartments can hold various books for students to check out and materials I will need to teach an engaging lesson while outside my normal classroom.

My students love coming to the library and this book truck will allow me to give them a little piece of our library each time books get delivered.

I will be delivering books to students this year and the compartments will be helpful in sorting books by grade level. Even though my students are not coming into the library this year, I still want them to have access to quality books.
