Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having students start off the school year with uniform, fresh materials makes classroom management easier. The first weeks of school are spent going over classroom routines that prepare students for a successful school year. Learning my students' needs and planning for social as well as academic success will help our classroom to run smoothly the entire school year.

Having materials on hand to motivate students and to have students take responsibility and ownership of their workspace is vital.

Having uniform materials like pencils, ballpoint pens, and folders will help keep my students organized and prepared to take notes and share assignments with their families. Dry-erase markers will help to limit paper usage and allow me to color-code instructions/notes for students. Snacks will help to motivate and energize my pre-teen during the school day as they readjust to the school day after summer.
