This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is very special, we are a high performing, Title I, Renaissance school. Our school population is about 88% Hispanic, 7% Caucasian, about 3% African American, and about 2% Asian. Most of our students are English language learners. Our high performance is really due to how hard our students' hard work. Their great efforts score enormous gains for our school.

In addition to our hard-working students, we truly have great caring families which allows our school culture to be one of a kind.

Our parents and students value education as much as our teachers do. Together with our families, we make our school a wonderful place for students to learn and teachers to teach!

My Project

I am requesting a few "odds and ends" to enhance my students' learning. I am asking for a class set of clipboards and dry erase paddle boards. These items will hopefully increase class participation and allow the students flexible seating options.

I am requesting privacy partitions to allow my students privacy and minimize any distractions during testing times.

We can always use construction paper and copy paper so that we can continue to create and learn. I have asked for a few basic supplies as well, such as; a class sharpener, cap erasers, and a class set of scissors. These basics are essential classroom supplies that need be replenished in my class. I appreciate your support n advance. Thank you
