Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are getting ready for our students graduation ceremony and we get to celebrate students learning successes throughout this year. This year our event will take place outside on our beautiful playground and grass area. Help us provide a beautiful outdoor space filled with bright pillows for lounging and beautify our sitting area under our tree where we learn outdoors. Students will celebrate their learnings and take photos with their family and friends. These graduation decorations and supplies are just perfect for students and families to reflect on this years learning, take photos, and spend time laughing and eating together on our last day.

We also plan to do art activities with our scholars before they move onto the next grade level.

In this project there are different poster sets for students to choose and to work on with their families. There are blank cards for students to create for each other. We also need plastic bins to hold these art materials and supplies for our outdoor celebration; as well as enough scissors for students to use during their art activities on this special day.

Lastly, help us get tennis balls for the bottoms of our chairs to prevent scuff marks as we turn our blacktop and playground into an outdoor learning space for graduation at the end of May!
