My Project

Students will use the hands-on resources to study ocean and freshwater resources. With our aquatic environments unit, students create small aquariums to take care of for several weeks. They observe and care for their organisms by testing the water, feeding them and adding and removing organisms based on their research.

With the Ocean Science kit, students will conduct 6 basic illustrative experiments to explain the relationship that salinity temperature density and pressure have to the ocean and its currents.

Students will also use the materials for ocean acidification labs and oil spill activities.
