This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you so much for being here. I believe in the importance of using art in the classroom to help students become passionate lifelong learners, and learning through the use of it. I believe worksheets do help but art allows students to express a side that is rarely tapped into, unfortunately.

The socio-economic hardships of being in the border town of Eagle Pass, Texas, makes it extremely difficult for students to be exposed to the arts in general.

I do my part to bring that awareness to my classroom, and I thank you for helping me too.
