Oboe You Didn't!
My students need oboe reeds to be able to finish out the school year.
My students are 7th and 8th graders at a public middle school in Southern California. The school receives Title I funding, and over 80% of the school population is below the poverty level. Many of their families cannot afford to provide basic instrument supplies like reeds and oils.
My students love to play music and are so excited when people donate to our school so that they can play.
It's so exciting for them to see that the community cares about them enough to donate and help them out!
My students need oboe reeds in order to continue to participate in class. Oboe reeds are some of the most expensive reeds and without them my oboe players cannot play. This project will purchase some more oboe reeds so my oboists can continue playing and learning to sound their best.
The oboe reeds I've selected are of good quality and will help the students to create that beautiful, plaintive and melancholic oboe sound we've all learned to love.
Please help my students by giving to this project so my oboe players can be the best they can be. Thank you!
