They are being used this year by three different classes as it is a fan favorite unit for the students at our school. \r\n\r\nThey have already made such a difference because now instead of having to take turns playing matches, ALL students in each class are now able to play at the same time. This is a huge deal in Physical Education since we always want all students moving as much as possible. This allows all students an equitable amount of time practicing important skills including hand-eye coordination, racquet skills, and teamwork. \r\n\r\nThe most exciting part of our badminton unit is the \"King of the Court\" tournament in which pairs compete for 5 minutes per match and winners work their way up to the first court, or Kings' Court. This naturally places students with opponents of similar skill level and allows those who are more competitive to have a fun goal. It was so nice to keep teams consistent by not having to sub out students and take turns. It made the tournament run smoother, kept it competitive and fair, and allowed all students to play the entire time. \r\n\r\nThank you again very much for your kindness and generosity.
