Nutrition and Well-being Leading by Example for our Youth

My Project

We are struggling with mental health and obesity crisis in America. I would like to lead by example and provide nutritious snacks to students when they come into the clinic. Many times they have headaches and stomachaches from not eating and/or not eating properly. Mental health disorders are also precluding students from eating properly. I would like to give my diabetic students more healthy options to raise blood sugar. Providing nutritious options also provides an experience for students to try new foods that can restore health and well being. I would like to have healthy snacks to give to students in the clinic which offers me the ability to educate the students individually on the importance of nutrition and well-being. I also have included a few personal hygiene products to help illustrate proper self-care. As well as some rings for the students who struggle with anxiety and focus.
