My students need an Osmo Monster game, a carpet, and beanbag seats for a warm and cozy environment where they can feel like they are part of a collaborative group.
My students are special because our school receives Title I funding. Our students deserve enriching experiences that they may not find outside of the school environment. Fifth grade is such an important grade to make a positive difference in children’s lives.
We are so lucky to have a third section of 5th grade this year.
Unfortunately, I am coming from a school that has been my home for 20 years and will not be able to take many of the items that made my classroom unique and homey.
My Project
My students come from very diverse backgrounds. I am seeking to provide a classroom experience that promotes collaboration and a sense of community. I am moving into this school with a great deal of experience, but with very little to work with in the way of flexibility and comfort for the way these kids can best be productive.
I am requesting a carpet, beanbag seats, an Osmo Monster game, and an Osmo iPad base.
A flexible seating arrangement that promotes community in the classroom is the best way to facilitate this. I have included some comfortable seating and carpeting, as well as collaborative and interactive programs to use with the iPads that our district generously provides the students.
