My students come from very diverse backgrounds. I am seeking to provide a classroom experience that promotes collaboration and a sense of community. I am moving into this school with a great deal of experience, but with very little to work with in the way of flexibility and comfort for the way these kids can best be productive. I am requesting a carpet, beanbag seats, an Osmo Monster game, and an Osmo iPad base. A flexible seating arrangement that promotes community in the classroom is the best way to facilitate this. I have included some comfortable seating and carpeting, as well as collaborative and interactive programs to use with the iPads that our district generously provides the students.
