My seventh and eighth graders spend most of their day in a building without any plants surrounding them. This environment can be dreary and uninspiring.
My dream is to make an art room inspired by my love of art and nature.
This beautiful natural environment includes plants and art supplies for making nature themed work. My student will practice drawing plants, growing plants, caring for plants and creating planters and nature themed pottery.
I am excited to make my middle school art room a place my students love coming to in order to find a place in which they feel at home with the earth. Thank you for supporting creativity and appreciation of nature in these young adults.
