Nugget Book Nook

Help me give my students a place to gather to read as well as materials to help us create Mathematical and Literacy differentiated learning stations.

My Project

My First Grade friends love reading and being in our Literacy nook during center times. I would love to add some flexible seating to this area of our room, because currently we only have one small chair for scholars to use in that center. Otherwise, they are sitting on the floor to read books and utilize the tools in the literacy nook. When up to four scholars are using the literacy nook at a time, it can become crowded and the lack of seating is not conducive for learning.

The Nugget couch would be a focal point in the classroom that our group could use during carpet time lessons, and in the literacy nook during center time.

Nugget couches are comfy, can be moved easily, and have a wide variety of arrangements to fit our little learners' needs! I am always looking for new ways to incorporate flexible seating into our classroom, and the Nugget would be a great tool to add in!
