My eco-friendly students need 31 dry-erase, magnetic boards plus markers.

My environmentally conscious first grade urban students do not wish to waste paper. These 30 students live in a high poverty area.

Copying lots of worksheets wastes time and money. Students really enjoy using dry-erase boards and markers, as well as, magnetic letters, numbers, and words. We have some dry-erase boards in our room at this time but they all worn-out from daily use and some are even broken.

By using dry-erase boards, our classroom will save lots of money and trees because we will not be using worksheets or workbooks to learn first grade reading, writing, and math skills. We will use these boards every day in most subject areas. Because these boards are magnetic also, we can do even more fun activities such as "Make Words" in reading class, and practice basic facts during math using magnetic numbers.

These boards will be crucial to teach all subject areas in first grade. The students will enjoy using the colorful markers and answering questions all by themselves on their own personal boards. Your donation will make students' learning a fun hands-on approach and Eco-friendly.
