This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My diverse English Learners in kindergarten are curious and come from different cultural backgrounds which makes our learning community rich and very fun to work

My students are eager to learn and bring many valuable experiences to share with our school family.

My Project

Currently I am using either my iPad or computer screen to “project” some videos and or audiovisual lessons to my students. Sometimes students need to huddle together in order to see clearly. With the COVID restrictions of being at least three feet apart, it is practically impossible for all the students to watch a lesson on the screen. I am in dear need of an LCD projector for my students to watch and participate safely during my mini-lessons. Having this tool will ensure that I am being compliant with the CDC guidelines in my classroom. It will also increase students' engagement and participation.
