Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are brilliant minds eager to learn, interact, present, and submit assignments that are required in the World Language Classroom. It feels great to see them excel when they are provided with the right tools and academic support.
Most of them are socioeconomically disadvantage students.
This situation poses some issues at home such as not being able to print out essays, reports, and color pictures for posters.
With your support, I am interested in providing a place for students to carry out these tasks in order for them to comply with the various demands of academic work so that they are college and career ready.
My Project
Do you know that in the 21st Century, there are still some families who do not have access to technology or lack the software for their children's academic success? Many families lack the resources so that they do not have access to technology at home. They depend on friends, schools, and public libraries to satisfy their printing needs. Consequently, I am very interested in establishing a station where my students can print out a variety of documents and pictures for our World Language Classroom.
This printing station will allow my students to be more accountable by having a place to print out their essays or reports on time.
It will also be significant to them since they will not have to leave our campus to finalize a paper and print it out. This can be doable at school if I can provide them with this opportunity. They will be very appreciative of your contributions to their education and careers.
