My Students
This is the first year that our high school is fully built out and this will be our first year of having not only a graduating class, but a class graduating from our new IB curriculum. All of our students from 9th grade-12th grade are working so hard every day learning rigorous content and continuing to build the culture of a college preparatory campus.
They a deserve a fully built out library to match their recently built out school.
A school library is a place to study, engage in choice literature, and conduct college level research.Funding this project will help our campus achieve our goal of have sixteen texts for every one scholar, a ratio that will ensure we have the resources necessary to support every scholar's desire to read or research the topics of their choosing.
My Project
Your assistance will help my campus grow our every-increasing library collection. With every book added, a scholar has that much higher of a chance of finding the book that will make them fall in love with reading or discovering the topic that will lead to a lifelong love of exploration. The IB curriculum requires an exploration of various topics.
A school library should be a place for scholars to learn, think, and grow.
By adding more diverse books to our collection we can continue to encourage scholars to explore the power of language and to think critically about the world around them.
