My Project

My DonorsChoose project will provide three engaging novels that give students meaningful choices while strengthening literacy skills. By offering diverse texts, students can connect with stories that reflect different perspectives, increase reading motivation, and build critical thinking.

These novels will support classroom discussions, independent reading, and analytical writing while creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can grow as a confident reader.

Providing students with high-quality, choice-based literature will encourage a lifelong love of reading, foster deeper comprehension, and help develop the confidence and communication skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
