My Project

These books will continue to enhance novel units that students loved participating in during past years. However, some need to be replaced, and we could use a few more copies of each book.

My goal is to create a couple of opportunities throughout the year for literature circles/novel groups.

I hope to start our year with short stories and nonfiction texts to build background knowledge. Later in the year, I hope to provide an opportunity for literature circles and novel groups. To give my students this opportunity, we need a few more copies of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind and The Lightning Thief.

Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with care, and students are thankful for the opportunity to have a copy of their own that they can use in class. With these new books, my students will be able to have high interest texts that will allow students to collaborate and talk with their peers and work on various reading standards and skills.

Mrs. Schnoor will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 12.
