This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we embark on a mission to alleviate hunger among the children in our SMMS community, we seek your support for our project, "Nourishing Hope." Your generous donation will directly impact the learning experience of these young minds by providing them delicious snacks to help them get by the school day until lunch. Some snacks will even be sent home with children in need of something to snack on after school hours! Our goal is not only to fill their stomachs but to cultivate an environment where hunger doesn't hinder their ability to learn and thrive.

The overarching aim of "Nourishing Hope" is to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry, fostering an atmosphere where hunger pangs don't drown out the excitement for learning.

Our students, a diverse and vibrant group, possess incredible potential and resilience. Their unique qualities and backgrounds make them special, and with your support, we can empower them to reach their full potential by meeting their basic nutritional needs. Your contribution will make a lasting impact, not only on their immediate well-being but on the trajectory of their futures. Thank you for considering our project!
