I am requesting a variety of snacks to give my students energy and sustenance to make it through the long high school days.
My students need to keep their energy up and their bodies nourished to focus on the varying subjects that prepare them for success outside school.
In our current society, many students cannot afford to bring extra snacks to school and will often arrive hungry and need a quick bite to help them get through their classes. I want to provide snacks to them so they can thrive all day long and not have to constantly worry about satisfying their immediate hunger.
Providing snacks makes the difference between students learning and thriving because their basic needs are met or possibly not being successful because they do not have the nourishment they need. It is a simple request that will make a huge impact on my students and being able to let them know they are cared for at school in this way.
