We are part of a large district but have the highest ratio of special education and economically disadvantaged students. At this time, our hard-working kids need additional support to pass the End of Course Exam that is necessary to graduate. As their teacher, it is my desire to procure all the items and manipulatives I can to encourage their motivation to learn in a safe and comfortable environment. Anything that might benefit them, is something I am willing to try, although finances might not always allow. I have the best students in the world and want to teach them to the best of my ability so they have the skills necessary to be successful in school and life. Many of the educational philosophies today are to teach with our students' interests in mind, and that is my desire.
