Notebooks In The Classroom Part 2

My students need two HP Notebook computers for our very own classroom to enhance their learning through technology.

My Students

Living in the 21st Century, students are expected to use technology on a daily basis. Computers and other electronic devices are now a part of children's lives. What better way to challenge and expand students' technology skills with using HP Notebooks in the classroom.

Many of my students don't have computers at home and the only place they get to use one is when they come to school.

Computer time is often their favorite time of the day however, it becomes a hassle with our old, slow computers that are shared with seven other classes. I have a classroom of 28 third grade students this year. They are a fun and spirited group that keep me on my toes. They have a great desire to learn more, and they soak up all the opportunities that I can give to them. We have a great school, however, resources are tight, and we need your help to make our classroom truly fantastic. Our goal is to have eventually have a classroom of notebooks.

My Project

My students love technology and during computer time, the students are engaged in both reading and math programs, educational games, researching, and need to have plenty of time for producing their final published writing paper. Students need the necessary materials to learn to the best of their ability in a technology rich world. The storage devices and HP Notebook I am requesting will allow students to engage in several required programs through technology, help them to save their work, access classwork files, create files for class assignments, as well as the convince of having our very own in our class. I have students learning at all levels and two notebooks in our class will help meet all my students needs. This allows students with required programs to do them in our own class without wondering if there is a computer open for use, or if they will get stuck on an older computer taking up all their time because of it being so slow. Plus, what a bonus to have our very own.

This project is important because we are working hard to create students with innovative minds and students who are up-to-date with the technological advances and opportunities that are presenting them to us each day.

My students would get so much use out of this technology. Having notebooks available for a student's daily use will provide so many opportunities. Please help us make this come true.
