Teaching at a Title I school, I work with a very unique and talented group of students. These scholars come into the classroom every day ready to learn and excited for what awaits. Regardless of the daily challenges many of them face at home or in the classroom with language barriers they maintain growth mindsets.
"Education is an ornament in prosperity, and a refuge in adversity."
Adversity is a challenge that every individual faces throughout their life, which is why my students take pride in their education. Using their education as an opportunity to prosper and overcome many of their daily challenges.
My students are simply amazing.
Organization is a huge component to student success. This year I would like to start the school year off by providing each student in my room with materials that will help them stay organized all year. As I prepare my students to be college and career ready it is important that I teach the importance of being an organized learner.
Teaching my scholars how to be organized , by using binders, will help to reduce their stress level this school year and help them to adapt an efficient way of organizing their materials.
While also preparing them to tackle a real world critical component to success in our economy....simply being organized!
