My Students

The students at our middle school come from every walk of life. We have inner city students, as well as an ELL program, along with a population of students from all over Manchester.

Our ELL program has students from every corner of the world.

These students have different levels of education, depending on their country of origin and their experience getting to the United States. The classes are full with both girls and boys of all different cultures, academic and economic levels, making for a great learning environment.

My Project

TreeHouse Masters is a great t.v. series that follows Pete Nelson and his company Nelson Treehouse and Supply. It begins with meeting the clients and continues through the process including designing and building the upper scale Treehouse

The show promotes the building trades, engineering, design, artistry along with environmental awareness.

It may introduce the student to their career choice of the future. It also gives the student experience of seeing different parts of the the world that they may otherwise be unable to see. Pete's quirky personality and creativity is very entertaining while holding the attention of the middle school student. These D.V.D's will be a great addition to the students experience in the wood shop.
