My Project

Julia Cook is not only a talented author of numerous social emotional books, but also a dedicated school counselor. She has first hand experience with children's social emotional development. Cook's books range from topics of grief to anxiety...from hygiene to having a growth mindset...from bullying to compromising.

These books give a child-friendly approach to pressing mental health issues.

They depict seemingly heavy and important topics in a way that engages and inspires students of all ages. I would love to incorporate her work into my teaching, and provide my entire school the access to so many of her titles.
