This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are fun-loving, respectful, hard-working and empathetic. They don't ask for much, but they give a lot in return.
Our school assemblies are outdoors and students are asked to sit on the blacktop.
There is no roof or shade in this area. In the cold winter months, the blacktop can get very cold. In the scorching summer months of southern California, the blacktop can get very hot.
My students often ask if they can stand up during our assemblies, but this is not allowed since it might block the view of other classes. Please help me give my students the gift of enjoying our school assemblies with these weather-proof, comfy, individual cushions.
