This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
First graders are amazing! On the first day of school they come in as little, living sponges. Everything is exciting and new! Their energy and curiosity are contagious. Watching them learn and grow makes me hungry to give them every opportunity possible.
When it comes to learning, my 1st graders can hardly contain themselves.
Science experiments can only be compared to the moon landing. Literature is no longer a bedtime story, but becomes a relationship. Math story problems are fun!
Many of my students come from families with limited resources. Your donation will allow children access to unique learning experiences that promote student engagement and increase cognitive development.
My Project
We need a book center to keep our entire classroom library accessible and organized. The pandemic has made us become more aware of the need to be healthy and clean. This book mobile will allow us to organize our materials so that students can access books and magazines about staying safe and healthy. We will be able to keep our classroom clean and disinfect our books and bins after students use them. The book display will allow us to organize our books based on our students' needs and preferences. We can label each compartment with the students' names so that they are not touching the same books.
In order for our students to be successful learners, we need to keep them safe and healthy.
The mobile book library will really help keep our books accessible and the classroom clean. Allowing students to have access to their books while staying safe will provide their parents with the peace of mind that they are in a clean classroom environment.
