My Project

I teach a group of very diverse learners in grades kindergarten through third. Each of my students has their own individual learning needs, many with deficits in reading and comprehension skills. We work to close gaps in their academics through engaging lessons and the use of enriching materials. Our classroom library is lacking nonfiction texts. By adding nonfiction texts to our classroom library, students will benefit from the opportunity to learn about things they may not be exposed to in their daily lives as well providing opportunities to work on reading and comprehension skills.
