My Project

My students have been reading and enjoying nonfiction texts during their library hour. We have had extensive lessons on the structure of nonfiction and how nonfiction books help us to learn. Having more updated nonfiction texts will allow my students to devour and learn more interesting and needed facts while in the library.

My students are also introduced to research projects and even though technology is used majority of the time, I prefer to have my students use actual books to find information to use for their research.

They should be able to differ between all forms of resources needed and need to see that a nonfiction book will give them the information that they will need.
