Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title I school where the student demographic is an extremely low economic status. My students receive free breakfast and lunch every day. They have a lot of needs both at home and at school. They are very hard working and always try their best. Our school has Head Start all the way to eighth grade. Our school works very hard to assist these students in succeeding by helping them get the materials they may need.

My students are creative and very clever.

Every day, my students walk in with a smile on their faces, ready to learn!

My Project

My classroom book library is getting many books. However, I do not have many science nonfiction books for my students to read. This nonfiction set of books is perfect.

Help make reading more exciting!

These books are extremely high-interest books for kids. Many of my students think reading is boring, but having these books will interest them more.

These books are extremely engaging so they are perfect. These books are all science related so the kids will really enjoy them. My kids love science this year so these books will be great to add to our library.
