My Students

My students learn every day through inquiry and multiple means of representation. They love exploring different ways to solve one problem. They think outside the box when finding solutions.

In our classroom, we like to not only learn by listening but also by seeing and doing.

My students not only learn from me, but they learn from each other and themselves. My students are curious and eager to learn! With teamwork and perseverance, they can accomplish anything they set their minds to in my class!

My Project

I recently moved and started working in a new school. I left many of my classroom library books behind at my old site so the students there can continue to use and enjoy them. Now I have a limited amount of books!

At SCS, we like to say that students "should be reading books they CAN and WANT to read." This means, as a teacher, I need my library to have a rich variety of books adhering to all students' levels and preferences.

I want to use these books to help my library grow so my students have an array of non- fiction books to choose and read!
