Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic. The students in our school moved from a classroom setting to a virtual setting. As a result, google classroom has been set up where my students go on google meet everyday to work on a Math and Science Live class. But due to this transition I am having difficulties with the computer giving by the school as the screen is broken and I have to plug it to an extension screen to see my student’s interaction. I can’t afford getting a reliable computer now as my finances can just have need met at home.
My students will benefit more from having me a faster response to their needs as I can see them and address them right away as we move into virtual learning.
Most of my students are visual learning students and they need support on step by step on how to Learn about our planet earth with videos and online tools.
Thank you in advance for your support to our future scientists in the city of Philadelphia. Our students need all the support they can in this hard time and with the right technology together we can motivate them to move on.
My Project
Using an updated computer with a screen allows me to provide my students a better instruction. Students do not have to wait long to get the information they need. There will be no more waiting for a project to get upload.
My students will be able to see my shared screen and I will upload videos and other online resources to teach them science and math.
Students will be able to stay connected like we are back in our classroom and I can respond to their needs more efficiently.
I want to give them what they deserve in the midst of everything that is going on. I can only do that, if I have the appropriate tools to do so. You can help shape the future of our country.
