My Project

There are many days when my students hands start going up, and they are asking questions about lunch. Sometimes they might quietly say, “I’m hungry.” As you know, it is hard to focus when you are hungry. No matter how engaging the lesson may be my students can't concentrate when they are hungry.

Please help my students focus on their learning and not on their grumbling tummies.

In this Donors Choose project, there are a variety of snacks of all types, and varying sizes. Sometimes we just need a very small bite of something to get us to lunch time. Sometimes, my students leave school very hungry and they still have a very long bus ride home. For the longer stretches of time they will need a larger snack. Also, in this Donors Choose project I have asked for storage containers with lids so the items can stay fresh and safe.
