Please help me provide my students with a classroom organization system. One thing that many of my students struggle with is organization. To combat this, I want to provide them with a rolling cart in my classroom where they can house all things important such as notes, anchor charts, worksheets, and completed assignments.
These binders will allow my students to have a place to keep all things important in the classroom for easy access.
That way, when working in there small groups on practice material they have an easy reference source that they haven't lost/misplaced. As teachers, we all know that notes/anchor charts/supplemental material does the students no good if it gets misplaced. This binder system will stay in the classroom and become part of my student's routine to make sure they have easy access to the various math content they are practicing at hand. This will greatly assist my ELL population in keeping up with all their anchor charts and supporting documents.
The rolling cart will assist my students in an easy way to find extra copies of notes/practice resources. This will also assist me with students that need remediation and enrichment on certain topics. They can choose a task from the appropriate labeled drawers (I plan on using the laminator to create the labels as well as laminate important charts for my students to keep) to either get more practice or support higher thinking.
This project will help teach my students about organization and responsibility throughout their educational journey. My students and I would greatly appreciate your support on funding this organization system for our classroom!
