My Students
My class is made up of twenty curious, active, amazing students. They are inquisitive and want to learn. They are a great group that works well together.
My students come from different ethnic and economic backgrounds.
My class is made up of students that receive free or reduced-price lunch, students that receive Response To Intervention assistance with reading, students that receive special education services in reading and math, and students that have qualified for our gifted and talented program. We are a well-rounded class but more importantly, we are a family!
My Project
If COVID has taught us one thing, it's not to take anything for granted. In the novel, The City of Ember, the residents of this dark city are running out of the one thing that they most desperately need...light bulbs. If they don't find a solution fast, they will be plunged into a world of darkness.
Please help me purchase a class set of this exciting novel that my fourth graders will love to see how the people of the city of Ember will face the light bulb shortage crisis before it's too late.
Students will each have a copy of this book that they will be able to use in class as well as for taking home to read with a parent or family member.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
